General specifications for Standard 6-string Hollow Bodies:

(All instruments ordered directly from me are "custom orders" even if they fit within basic specs.)

Any custom guitar ordered using parts and materials from this light blue box section should fall within the basic model price (will not add to the price). Any custom option from the dark blue box below will add to the price by the amount shown.

Materials used on a Standard 6-string hollow body (basic model):

Wood: The Wood Pile
Body: Honduras Mahogany, Swamp Ash
Neck: Laminated Honduras Mahogany
Body top: S (Standard) Figured Maple, Sitka or Englemann Spruce (please check "The Wood Pile" for examples of available wood)
Fingerboards: Indian Rosewood, South American Rosewood or Ebony

(Please note that Black Limba (body and neck wood) is now a $150 upgrade, due to increased difficulty to obtain suitable material.)

Hardware:
Tuners: Grover Rotomatic, Gotoh 510 Delta series, Sperzel locking, Schaller
Bridge: Wilkinson, TonePros, ABM or Pigtail
Pickups: Amalfitano, Wolfetone, Lindy Fralin, Kent Armstrong, Razor, Gibson, Voodoo.
Guitar controls: 1-volume, 1-tone (CTS or DiMarzio pots), 3-position pickup selector (Switchcraft).

Neck dimesions:
Scale Lenth: 24 3/4 inches
Width at nut: 1 11/16 inches, width at 22nd fret: 2 1/4 inches.
Neck thickness at first fret: .890 inches to .910 inches. Thickness at 12th fret: .990 inches to 1.000 inches.
General neck shape is based on a 50's Gibson which is a 'C' shape at the body end tapering down to a slight
'V' shape at the nut end.
Neck/body joint: Neck joins body at 20th fret. Heel is cut away to an unobtrusive but safe minimum.
Inlay options: Standard vertical lines, pearl dots

Neck material: 5-ply Curly or Bird's Eye Maple - Add $100
